CIA FOIA Log for the 2008 Calendar Year

Below is the CIA's FOIA log for calendar year 2008. I have previously posted the CIA's FOIA log for the 2009 calendar year. Over at Government Attic, they have the CIA FOIA logs for 1999-2004 and 2005-2007 which, when combined with the FOIA logs I have acquired, provided a complete picture of CIA related FOIA activity for the past decade.

Yugoslavia: The Death of a Country Code

Almost twenty years after the death of the state that it was assigned to .yu, the internet country code assigned to the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, has been terminated.  SFRY now joins South Yemen, East Germany, Zaire, and other now non-existent states in having its top-level domain country code shut down.

Not surprisingly, most of the remaining .yu domains have shifted over to the Serbia tld .rs.
